Price list: what each thing in Eddie costs in credits
Every fixed price in one table: imports, transcription, searches of your footage, b-roll, beats, audio description and each kind of export, plus what is free.

A credit is a credit: every price below is the same whether Pro or Regular credits pay it. See Pro credits, Regular credits and which AI model runs your edit.
Bringing footage in

Importing the same files again. If your workspace imported and paid for the same file in the last 30 days, in an import that finished, importing it again into a new project is free for that file. This works once per file. The credits come back as a refund on the new import.
Adding media to a project you already have is billed like any other import, on the length of the new files only.
Asking Eddie to look through your footage

Asking the same question of the same footage again is free for a moment search and for the interview moments. A saved beat grid is reused for free.
Building and changing an edit
A prompt run — the work Eddie does when you ask it for something — is metered on the work it does, so it has no fixed price. Eddie quotes a range before a big run, and every finished run shows what it cost. See How credits and billing work.
Inside a run, these cost nothing extra: building an edit, adding to one, captions, titles, crops and reframing to vertical or square, color grading and hiding part of the picture.
Looking at frames has no price of its own. When Eddie looks at frames of your video, the pictures are part of the prompt run's metered cost, so a run that looks at many frames costs more.

The day for MP4 exports resets at midnight UTC. Downloading an unchanged edit again is free and does not count. The 4K upscaled MP4 is priced on its own row, before you click. See Render a finished MP4.
When nothing is charged
- A failure on our side is refunded. A failed import, search, render or export gives your credits back. A search that runs and finds nothing is an answer, not a failure, so it is not refunded.
- A question is free. Asking Eddie something, including what a thing would cost, costs nothing when it changes nothing in your project.
- Ask first. Say "tell me the price before you do anything paid", and Eddie checks each price and waits for your OK.
