Get an invoice or receipt for your purchase
Every purchase emails you a receipt. To get an invoice with your company name, address and tax ID, add them when you pay. Here is how.
Every purchase gets a receipt
When you buy credits, Stripe, our payment processor, emails a receipt to the email address on your Eddie account. The email has a link to view or download the receipt. If you cannot find it, check your spam and promotions folders.
Get an invoice with your company details
To get an invoice with your company name, billing address and tax ID (such as a VAT number), add them when you pay:
- On your projects page, select your credit balance, then Buy credits. In a project, select Buy in the sidebar.
- Choose a pack.
- Under the payment button, select Having trouble? Pay on Stripe instead. Stripe's checkout page opens.
- Enter your billing address.
- Tick I'm purchasing as a business, then enter your company name and tax ID.
- Pay. Stripe emails you the invoice, with links to download the invoice and the receipt as PDFs.
The card form inside the Buy credits window gives you a receipt only, not an invoice. It does not ask for company details.
If you already paid
Stripe fixes the name, address and tax ID on an invoice when you pay, and a paid invoice cannot be changed. If you need an invoice with different details for a purchase you already made, email hey@heyeddie.ai. Include:
- the email address you paid with,
- roughly when you paid,
- the company name, billing address and tax ID the invoice needs.
Subscriptions
If you have a subscription, open the Billing portal to see and download its invoices. On your projects page, select your credit balance at the top of the page, then Billing portal.
In the portal you can also update your billing address and tax ID. The change applies to your next invoices, not to invoices you already paid. To change the name on your invoices, email hey@heyeddie.ai.
