Export several edits at once

Every export delivers one edit. How to export many edits quickly, from the Export menu or by asking Eddie, and what a batch costs.

A project can hold many edits: several short clips, versions of one cut, a cut per topic. Each export delivers one edit. There is no button that exports every edit in one file or one click.

From the Export menu

  1. Open the first edit.
  2. Open Export and pick the format.
  3. Open the next edit and do the same.

The Export menu always acts on the edit you have open. Check its name before you export.

By asking Eddie

Tell Eddie which edits and which format: "Export all my edits as MP4s", or "Export the three socials edits for Premiere". Eddie lists the project's edits, says how many there are and what the batch costs, then exports them one at a time. It replies with one link per edit, or says what stopped an edit.

What a batch costs

Each edit is its own export, so the price is per edit:

  • A timeline (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, OTIO) is 100 credits per export, so five edits are 500 credits.
  • A cloud MP4: the first 10 cloud MP4 exports each day are free for each workspace, then each costs 50 credits. The day resets at midnight UTC.

Video files come one at a time

A workspace makes one cloud video file at a time, so a batch finishes one after another, usually a minute or two each. The desktop app makes them on your own computer instead.

One edit with every clip in it

If you would rather have one file, ask Eddie to put the clips into a single edit, one after another. Then one export delivers all of them.
