Bring Eddie into your Premiere Productions

Invite Eddie to your LucidLink filespace and it joins your Premiere Production as a collaborator — reading footage off the mount and delivering new projects into an Eddie folder.

Eddie joins your Premiere Production the way another editor would: it connects to the LucidLink filespace your Production lives on, reads your footage straight off the mount, edits it, and delivers its work as new projects in an Eddie folder inside your Productions. Nothing you already have is touched.

Invite Eddie to your filespace

  1. Open the Premiere Productions connect card and copy the Eddie LucidLink identity it shows.
  2. In LucidLink, invite that identity to the filespace your Production lives on, and confirm the share.

The invite is what lets Eddie mount the filespace and see your Productions — it takes a few minutes to land.

Connect your Production

  1. Once the filespace is shared, type the path to your Production folder (relative to the filespace root). If Eddie already sees the filespace, pick the Production from the list instead.
  2. If it's a filespace Eddie hasn't seen before, add the filespace name so Eddie knows where to look.
  3. Eddie confirms it can reach the Production and connects.

What Eddie delivers

Eddie logs the footage in your Production and, when you ask for a cut, writes its work as new Premiere project files into an Eddie folder inside your Production. Your original projects, footage and folders are never modified.
