Get notified when your project is ready

Importing footage is real work — transcription, analysis, the lot — and a big batch can take a while. You don't have to sit and watch the progress bar. Eddie can tell you the moment your project is ready.

On your iPhone (the ping)

If you have the Eddie iPhone app installed and signed in, you're already covered: your phone gets a ping when an import finishes, when an edit you asked for is done, and when a video finishes rendering. Nothing to set up — the import screen will simply confirm "your iPhone will get a ping".

No iPhone? Get an email instead

Push notifications only exist through the iPhone app — so if you don't have it (or don't have an iPhone), choose "Email me when it's ready" on the import screen. When the project is ready you'll get exactly one email — "Your project is ready 🎬" — with a button straight back to it. One email per project, only when you've asked for it, never a drip.

You can close the tab after choosing — the email finds you either way.

Changed your mind?

Every choice here is reversible:

• Said "no thanks" on the import screen? That only applies to that one import — your next import offers again.
• Asked for the email and don't want it? The import screen has a "don't email me" link right in the confirmation, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.
• Turned down notifications on your iPhone? Open the app's gear menu → Notifications and switch them back on (if you also declined at the iOS level, the toggle sends you to iPhone Settings to allow them).
• Want the phone pings to stop? Same toggle, other direction.

What exactly does Eddie notify about?

Only work you asked for: an import you started, an edit you prompted, a render you requested, or someone joining a project you shared. No streaks, no marketing pings, no "we miss you".
