Questions

Does my footage have to be downloaded first?
No. Pick the files in Frame.io and Eddie brings them in for you — you do not download to your machine and upload again.
What gets delivered back to Frame.io?
The rendered MP4, into the workspace you have connected. If you want the timeline alongside it, switch on the Premiere XML option and both land together.
How do the comments work?
Review comments left in Frame.io are brought back into Eddie and shown against the edit they belong to, so you can act on a note without keeping two tabs in sync.
Can I do this from the desktop app?
The Frame.io connection is set up on the web, so delivery back to Frame.io is a web feature. Importing footage and editing work the same everywhere.
