Invite and manage teammates
Invite teammates to a workspace by email — they get full access to its projects; owners add and remove, everyone sees the roster.
A workspace is how you bring teammates in. Members are managed from the workspace's Members panel, on both web and desktop.
Invite a teammate (owner only)
- Open Members for the workspace.
- Enter the person's email and add them.
- They gain access the next time they sign in with that email — there's no separate accept step; the invite binds to their account on first sign-in.
If they don't have an Eddie account yet, they can create one with that email and they'll land straight in your workspace.
Owner vs. member
- Owner — the person who created the workspace. Only the owner can invite and remove people.
- Member — everyone invited in. A member can do the full editing work — import, prompt, export — and can open Members to see the roster, but can't add or remove others.
What an invited teammate can see and do
Being in a workspace is full, shared access. A teammate can:
- open and edit every project in the workspace (there are no per-project permissions);
- spend the workspace's shared credits with their imports and prompts;
- see the full member list.
So invite people you're happy to share all of that with — see what everyone in a workspace can see and spend. For client or confidential work, use a separate workspace.
Remove a teammate (owner only)
The owner can remove any member (other than themselves). Access ends immediately on removal.
