Does Eddie have a free trial?
There's no separate trial signup — every new account starts with free credits and pay-as-you-go pricing, so you can import footage and edit before paying anything.
No separate trial to sign up for
Eddie doesn't have a distinct "free trial" plan or button — instead, every new account starts with a free credit balance you can spend right away, on the same product everyone else uses.
What you get to start
New accounts begin with 1,000 free credits. That's enough to import a few hours of footage and take a project through a full edit — see How credits and billing work for exactly what imports, prompts and exports cost.
No subscription required
Eddie works pay-as-you-go: you don't need to subscribe to a plan to use it. You can import real footage, prompt Eddie to build and refine a cut, and export it — all on your starting free credits — before ever paying anything. If you run out, you can top up credits or subscribe to a plan; see Upgrade your plan or top up credits.
Getting started
- Create an account and open your dashboard.
- Import your footage.
- Make your first AI edit by prompting Eddie.
If you're evaluating Eddie before committing to a paid plan, this free starting balance is the way to try it on your own footage first — see Cancel your Eddie plan for how subscribing and unsubscribing works once you're ready.
