Already organizing footage in your NLE? The Eddie AI desktop app connects with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so you can send footage into an Eddie project without hunting for the files by hand.

Set it up

  1. Install the desktop app — it includes the NLE integrations.
  2. In the web app's import options you'll see Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro entries; each points you to the desktop app if you don't have it yet.

The round trip

The integrations work in both directions:

  • In: bring the footage you've gathered in your NLE into an Eddie project, so Eddie can transcribe, analyze and rough-cut it.
  • Out: when the cut is done, export a timeline back to the same editor and relink to your original media. See Export to your editor.

For DaVinci Resolve specifically, the hand-off runs through a Resolve script installed with the desktop app — in Resolve, look under Workspace > Scripts for Eddie AI AE. See Getting an Eddie timeline into DaVinci Resolve for details and troubleshooting.

Prefer to skip the NLE on the way in? Plain uploads and cloud imports work from any browser.
