Crop and reframe for social
Turn a horizontal shoot into a vertical or square cut, then fine-tune any shot's crop by hand right on the timeline.
A horizontal shoot can become a vertical or square social cut without reshooting. Eddie crops each shot to keep the subject framed.
Reframe the edit

Captions and titles reflow to the new canvas automatically.

Eddie crops each clip to keep the subject in frame, rather than applying one static crop across the whole edit.
Adjust the crop by hand
If a shot lands slightly off-center after Eddie's automatic reframe, you don't have to redo it by prompt alone — you can adjust the crop rectangle for that segment directly in the timeline view of the web app: select the clip, then drag or nudge its crop frame to recenter the subject. This works alongside prompting: ask Eddie to reframe a shot ("nudge the crop up on this clip"), or drag it yourself, whichever is faster for the fix you need.
In export
Crop framing carries into your NLE export and bakes into MP4 renders — vertical and square videos come out sized correctly, with titles and captions wrapped for the narrow canvas. Manual crop adjustments are included the same way.
Workflow
Reframe is usually the last creative pass: lock the cut and captions first, then produce vertical and square variants from the same edit, doing any manual per-shot touch-ups once you can see the final framing.
