Generate video

The shot you do not have

Describe it. Eddie generates an original clip and lays it into the cut as b-roll.

Say what the camera sees

A prompt is the shot. These are examples of the kind of picture you can ask for, in the shape the edit needs.

01

Describe the shot

Say what the camera sees, in the same chat you use for the edit. Widescreen or vertical. A few seconds is a cutaway.

02

See the credits first

Eddie quotes the cost before anything is generated. You decide, then it runs.

03

It lands on the cut

The clip comes into the project as b-roll and is placed on the timeline, ready to trim, move, or replace.

Keep the subject the same

A reference image holds a person, a product, or a place across clips, so the bottle in shot two is the bottle in shot one. A clip can also open on a frame you choose, then move.

Questions

What is Generate video?
You describe a shot in plain language. Eddie generates an original video clip for that shot and places it on the timeline as b-roll. It is made for the cut, not pulled from a stock library.
How is this different from stock b-roll?
Stock b-roll searches a licence-free library for clips that match what was said. Generate video makes a new clip from your description. Use stock when a real library shot will do, and generate when the shot does not exist yet.
Can the same person or product appear in more than one clip?
Yes. Give Eddie a reference image of the person, product, or place. Later clips can follow that image, so the subject stays recognisable from shot to shot.
Does Eddie tell me the cost before it generates?
Yes. Eddie quotes the credits for the clip before it runs. Credit packs never expire.
Are generated clips labelled?
Yes. A generated clip carries a standard AI-generated label, and an MP4 export that uses one is marked as AI-generated too.
