Why did my credits go down?
Imports are charged per hour of footage, generation and placed b-roll cost credits, and in a workspace everyone spends one pool. Ask Eddie for your credit history to see each charge.
Ask Eddie, or your chat client, for your credit history. It lists each charge and what it was for. These are the usual reasons a balance drops faster than expected:
- Importing. 250 credits per hour of footage, billed in 15-minute blocks. To use footage you already imported in a project, add it to that project instead of importing it again.
- A big first edit. A first assembly across hours of footage costs more than a small change to a finished cut.
- Generation and b-roll. Motion graphics, music, voice-over, AI b-roll and placing b-roll on a cut cost credits. See the price list.
- A shared workspace. Everyone in a workspace spends the same pool. See What everyone in a workspace can see (and spend).
If you ask Eddie to put right the edit it just delivered, within 30 minutes, the correction draws on what you already paid for that run. See How credits and billing work.
If a charge still looks wrong, email hey@heyeddie.ai with the project link and roughly when it happened.
