Eddie for iPhone
The Eddie iPhone app: watch your edits, prompt changes, import footage from your phone, and get a ping the moment things finish.
Eddie for iPhone puts your projects in your pocket — same account, same projects, no laptop required.
What you can do on your phone
- Watch your edits — play any cut, anywhere, the moment it exists.
- Prompt changes — tell Eddie what to adjust, exactly like on the web.
- Import footage — straight from your camera roll or Google Drive, so a phone shoot can become a project before you're home.
- Share — send a project link from wherever you are.
- Get notified — the iPhone app is where Eddie's notifications live: a ping when an import finishes, when an edit you asked for is done, or when a video finishes rendering. See Get notified when your project is ready.
Install the app
Eddie for iPhone is currently in early access: join here and Apple's TestFlight app will walk you through the install (two taps, free, no invitation needed). When Eddie reaches the App Store, this article is where the store link will live — installing from TestFlight now doesn't cost you anything later; updates carry your sign-in across.
Open the app and enter the same email you use on the web — Eddie sends a one-time code, you type it in, and every workspace and project is there. No password to remember.
Notifications
The first time you ask Eddie for an edit from your phone, the app offers to turn on notifications — that's how it can ping you when the edit is done. You can change your mind any time: the gear menu → Notifications turns them on or off. Nothing else ever notifies you; Eddie only pings about work you asked for.
No iPhone? You can still be told when a project is ready — by email. See Get notified when your project is ready.
