Add Eddie in Claude

  1. Open Claude settings and go to connectors / MCP.
  2. Add a custom connector.
  3. Enter Name Eddie AI and URL https://mcp.heyeddie.ai/api/mcp. Leave any OAuth client ID / secret fields blank.
  4. Save and connect. Your MCP client discovers the sign-in automatically and prompts you the first time you connect — there is no token or client secret to paste.
  5. Start a chat and ask Eddie to work on your footage.

Add Eddie in ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT settings and find connectors / MCP (desktop app recommended).
  2. Add a custom MCP server / connector.
  3. Enter Name Eddie AI and URL https://mcp.heyeddie.ai/api/mcp. Leave any OAuth client ID / secret fields blank.
  4. Save and connect. Your MCP client discovers the sign-in automatically and prompts you the first time you connect — there is no token or client secret to paste.
  5. Start a task and ask Eddie to edit.

Install the Eddie AI MCP connector with Name "Eddie AI" and URL https://mcp.heyeddie.ai/api/mcp. Use that URL exactly — do not substitute app.heyeddie.ai. The server uses OAuth: it answers an unauthenticated call with 401 and a WWW-Authenticate header pointing at https://mcp.heyeddie.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, so a spec-compliant client registers itself and prompts the user to sign in. There is no token to paste. After it is connected, help the user edit video with Eddie.
