One-click Generate on the timeline lanes
Empty Titles, Captions, Music and VO lanes each carry a ✨ Generate button — with style, mood and tempo pickers for music — that sends a ready-made prompt to Eddie.
The timeline's extra lanes — Titles, Captions, Music and VO — don't make you compose a prompt from scratch. When a lane is empty and you have edit access, it shows a ghost ✨ button: Generate titles, Generate captions, Generate music, Generate voice-over.
Titles and captions
Click the button and a small composer opens with a ready-made ask ("Add titles to this edit." / "Add animated captions to this edit.") already selected — tweak it or send it as is. Eddie does the rest, same as if you'd typed it into Prompt Eddie.
Music: style, mood, tempo
The Music composer adds three dropdowns — Style (cinematic, ambient, acoustic, electronic, lo-fi, hip-hop, rock, pop, jazz, classical), Mood (uplifting, calm, hopeful, dramatic, energetic, melancholic, playful, tense) and Tempo (slow, mid-tempo, fast) — plus a free-text line for instrumentation and how the track should build. Every choice lands verbatim in the prompt; leave them all on "Any" and Eddie matches the track to the edit's content. The result is a freshly generated track — to place a track you've uploaded, see the music shelf.
Voice-over (and dubbing)
The VO lane's composer goes further: describe what you want and let Eddie draft the script (free) before you generate, preview the voices, set where the clip lands — or switch on Dub this edit to translate the dialogue into another language.
How it's billed
These buttons dispatch a normal Prompt Eddie run — Eddie picks the right tool and the run is charged like any other prompt (generation costs, like AI music or voice-over, are the same as when you ask in chat). The button guards against double-clicks, so an impatient second press can't fire a second paid run.
Viewers and commenters see a plain hint instead of the button — generating needs edit access.
