Upgrade your plan or top up credits

If your workspace runs low or goes negative on credits, you can top up or upgrade your plan to keep editing.

When you need to upgrade or top up

Eddie's editing actions (transcription, generating music, rendering exports, and more) consume credits from your workspace's balance. If a run takes your workspace balance negative, you'll need to top up or upgrade before you can continue prompting Eddie in that project.

How to top up or upgrade

Go to your workspace's billing settings in the app (outside the chat panel) to:

  • Add credits to your current plan, or
  • Upgrade to a plan with a larger monthly credit allowance

Why this matters for teams

Credits are shared at the workspace level — any member's actions draw from the same balance. If you're seeing a negative balance, check with your workspace admin, since only certain roles can manage billing. See How credits and billing work for details on what consumes credits and how usage is tracked, and What everyone in a workspace can see (and spend) for role-based visibility into spend.

If you're blocked mid-edit

If a prompt fails or gets cut short because the workspace balance went negative, that run's work isn't lost — you can top up and continue from where Eddie left off in the same project.
