How the integration works

Bring assets from Iconik into Eddie. Eddie creates a rough cut. And then send the edit to your NLE where it seamlessly relinks with the assets in Iconik.

From Iconik to Eddie AI

Open/download Eddie for Macs (ARM | Intel) or Windows and sign up for free. In the import screen, click the cloud icon, choose "Iconik" and connect Iconik and Eddie. Then select the assets and proxies you want to import from Iconik to Eddie, including multicam interviews, clips, and b-roll.

Download Eddie (click here to get download link) and sign up for free. In your FCP event: select simple, multi-cam, compound & sync clips or projects/timelines and drag and drop them into a new project in Eddie.

Rough cuts in minutes

Eddie logs interviews and b-roll, then builds rough cuts in minutes. Eddie is like ChatGPT for video editing: prompt to pull out themes, find the funniest soundbites, surface every mention of a topic across hours of footage, and turn a sprawling library into a working assembly.

Send your edit to Premiere, Resolve, or FCP

When the cut feels right, push it out of Eddie into your NLE to polish, color, and finish. Iconik stays your single source of truth for the source media - Eddie just gets you to a timeline faster and where everything seamlessly relinks.
