IBC is where broadcasters, post houses and production companies go to see what will be in their pipeline next year. That's our crowd. If you're cutting interviews, documentary, multicam or daily content in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, come and pull up a chair. We'll have Eddie running on real footage, and plenty of time to talk shop.
Where to find Eddie AI at IBC 2026
You'll find us in two places on the show floor:
- Booth 7.A38, Hall 7 — the main stand. Demos all day, every day of the show.
- Booth 14.B51, Future Tech Hall — where IBC puts the tools it thinks are about to change the workflow.
Either one is a good place to start. Bring your own footage on a drive, or just bring questions.
The talk: "This AI Editor Has Joined Your Team's Adobe / Blackmagic Cloud Edit"
Eddie AI CEO and co-founder Shamir Allibhai speaks on the Future Tech Stage on Saturday, September 12 at 14:15.
The short version: an AI editor is only useful to a team if it works inside the edit the team already runs, not beside it in a separate app with a separate timeline. Shamir will walk through what that looks like when the edit lives in Adobe and Blackmagic cloud workflows — where the footage comes from, what Eddie hands back, how review notes travel with the cut, and where a human editor still has to be a human editor.
If you're deciding how AI fits into a post pipeline that several people share, this is the session to catch.
What we'll be demoing at the booth
- Rough cuts from a prompt. Tell Eddie what the piece is and who it's for. It reads the transcripts, picks the soundbites and assembles a first pass you open in your own NLE.
- Night Shift. Send footage before you sleep. While you're offline, Eddie parses interviews from B-roll, syncs multicam, logs every clip and builds a rough cut. You wake up to a real sequence.
- Review pages that round-trip. Hand a client a review link, get their notes back as markers on your timeline at the frame they were written about.
- No walled garden. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro sequences — not a proprietary timeline, not a re-export.
- SOC 2 Type II and GDPR. For the teams whose security questionnaire arrives before the footage does.
Eddie is built for video professionals: editors, producers, directors, story producers and post supervisors. 40,000+ pros already use it, including teams at LinkedIn, Sony, Uber, HelloFresh, Harvard and Stanford.
