How to install an extension in Premiere Pro
Short answer
Install it from the Creative Cloud desktop app (Stock & Marketplace > Plugins) or with the developer's installer, then restart Premiere. Panels appear under Window > Extensions.
In Premiere Pro
01
Find the extension
Get it from the Creative Cloud app's plug-in marketplace or from the developer's site.
02
Install it
Click Get or Install in Creative Cloud. For a .zxp file, use the developer's installer or Adobe's Unified Plugin Installer Agent.
03
Restart Premiere
Quit Premiere Pro completely and open it again.
04
Open the panel
Choose Window > Extensions and pick it. Effect plug-ins appear in the Effects panel instead.
05
If it's missing
Check that the extension supports your Premiere version, and that Creative Cloud is signed in.
Eddie AI
Do it in Eddie
Eddie's Premiere panel installs itself with the desktop app.
There's no separate download. The Eddie desktop app hands its panel, Eddie AI AE, to Adobe's own installer the first time you send to or import from Premiere. Creative Cloud is required. In Premiere, open it from Window > Extensions > Eddie AI AE and keep it open while you send edits.
