THE SHORT ANSWER
Here's the approach.
Open the edit, open Export, and click Final Cut Pro under Send to. Eddie builds an FCPXML that you import into Final Cut Pro.
The FCPXML carries multicam, review comments as markers, and captions as editable titles. Eddie can also put Favorites and keywords on your clips in the Final Cut browser.
Step by step.
Eddie AI- 01
Open Export
Open the edit you want to hand over and open the Export menu.
- 02
Click Final Cut Pro under Send to
There is one format for Final Cut Pro: FCPXML. Import the file into Final Cut Pro.
- 03
Add Favorites if you want them
Ask Eddie: "Export this edit as FCPXML and mark every clip as a Favorite." Each timeline clip's range shows under Favorites in the browser.
- 04
Your own Final Cut multicam clip comes back
If a multicam clip came from Final Cut through the desktop app, the FCPXML puts your own multicam clip back on the timeline at Eddie's cut points.
