When the edit is the deliverable rather than a step on the way to an editor, take the MP4. Eddie renders on your own machine in the desktop app, or in the cloud from anywhere, at 1080p or your source resolution up to 4K.

Questions

Local render or cloud render?
The desktop app renders on your own machine, which keeps the work off our infrastructure and is uncapped by our queue. The web renders in the cloud, which means you can do it from any machine, including a phone.
Can I get a vertical cut for social?
Yes — the export offers a vertical layout as well as the original, so a horizontal edit can be delivered for Reels, TikTok and Shorts without a separate project.
What is the maximum resolution?
Source resolution, up to 4K.
