Premiere project.prproj

A .prproj is a real Premiere Pro project rather than an interchange document, and Eddie writes one from scratch in seconds. Nothing is baked, nothing is transcoded, and no plugin or rig sits in the path — you open the file and your sequence is there.

Opens in: Adobe Premiere Pro.

Timeline files for another editor use credits — one price for the artifact, whichever window produced it.

Questions

Do I need a plugin or an extension?
No. The project file is generated on our side and downloads like any other file. Nothing is installed into Premiere, and no machine of ours opens Premiere to make it.
Does multicam survive?
Yes — and this is the reason to prefer the project file. Eddie writes real multicam clips with switchable angles, rather than the flat cuts an interchange format produces.
What about older versions of Premiere?
For Premiere 2018 and earlier, take the Premiere XML instead. It is the same edit in the older interchange format those versions read.
