Music and audio
Ask Eddie to add a music track and set its level against the speech; Eddie also detects and mixes multi-track audio from your shoot on import and preserves source audio on export.
Sound is half the edit. Eddie handles a music bed and the source audio from your shoot.
Add music
Prompt: "Add upbeat background music," or add a specific track you've imported. Ask for the balance you want: "music low under the talking, up in the intro and outro."
Source audio
On import, Eddie detects multi-track audio (for example a lav mic and a camera mic) and mixes it for editing. On export:
Final Cut preserves all source audio tracks.
Premiere currently brings the primary track.
Tips
Direct music by feel and section, not decibels: "swell the music when the logo appears."
For a clean voice, run remove filler and silences before layering music.
