Connect cloud storage
Connect your cloud media storage in Eddie to import footage directly into projects; if the connection fails, a VPN or firewall on your network is the most common cause.
Connecting cloud storage lets you pull footage straight into Eddie without downloading it first.
Connect
Open the storage connection panel.
Enter your connection details and connect.
Import footage from the connected source into any project.
If it won't connect
A failed connection is most often a network issue rather than a credentials problem:
A VPN, firewall or network filter (for example a security tool blocking outbound requests) can stop the app reaching the service.
Try a different network — a phone hotspot is a quick test.
Temporarily disabling a local firewall/filtering tool often confirms the cause.
The app surfaces the underlying error to help you tell a network block from a credentials problem.
