Add captions and subtitles
Ask Eddie to add captions and it generates animated word-level captions from the transcript; you can style them and either burn them into an MP4 or carry them into an NLE export.
Because Eddie has word-level timing from the transcript, its captions land on the beat — each word highlighted as it's spoken.
Add captions
Prompt: "Add captions." Eddie builds a caption track timed to the transcript and shows it live in the player.
Style them
Ask for the look you want: "bigger captions", "captions at the bottom", "highlight each word as it's spoken" (karaoke style). Captions reflow to fit vertical and square canvases.
Captions vs. subtitles
Captions here are the on-screen, styled, animated text — great for social.
For a separate subtitle file, export carries caption timing into your NLE where you can produce SRT.
In export
MP4 (desktop): captions are burned into the video, karaoke highlight and all.
NLE export: caption timing travels with the edit so you can finish styling in Premiere/FCP.
Pair with remove filler and silences for a clean social cut, then render an MP4.
