Add media to an existing project

Open the project, choose to add media, and upload or import the new footage; Eddie transcribes and analyzes it and it appears alongside your existing clips as one cohesive project for editing and export.

You don't have to get all your footage in at the start. You can add media to a project at any time and it joins the existing clips seamlessly.

Add media

  1. Open the project.

  2. Choose Add media.

  3. Upload files or import from the cloud — the same options as a new project.

New clips are transcribed and analyzed, then appear in the media list. While they process you'll see placeholder rows so you know they're on the way.

It stays one cohesive project

Added footage behaves as if it had always been there — for playback, prompting and export everything lives together. New multicam imports keep their own group rather than merging into an existing one, and their transcripts and b-roll info come along.
